“When his brother goes missing, Chuck journeys to an old abandoned house and finds an impossible doorway… to a hellish alternate reality”.

‘Don’t Go Down to Wildor’ is a mind-warping take on the haunted house genre, directed, produced and edited by Ben Franklin and Anthony Melton. The film stars Aaron Ward (previously seen in our film ‘The Birch’) and the fabulously talented Malik Ibheis, who takes on dual monster roles in this technology-infused short.

Although this is a Bloody Cuts film through and through, this one’s a bit different from our usual fare. Not is it only micro-short, coming in at just over 2 minutes, but it’s also a film that was originally created for an anthology of short films called ‘Bite Size Horror’ made specially for Fox Digital. The film had a successful debut at Cannes Series in April 2018, and we’re now proud to be able to share the film online, in its complete form, as we originally intended.

For ‘Don’t Go Down to Wildor’ we were lucky to once again have the marvellous Cliff Wallace lending his creature design talents to the production, creating some of the most memorable Bloody Cuts monsters to date. And of course we had many returning crew, including DOP Jonny Franklin, as well as Ryan Thompson and Chris Goodman on Visual FX duties.

A huge thanks to all our fantastic cast and crew, and for FOX Digital to giving us the opportunity to create some brand new horror for our fans!
